So when we reached MacRitchie, we stupidly followed the arrows pointing the direction of the HSBC Tree Top walk. Although it wrote 5KM, we still followed anyway, thinking that 5KM is not very long (if u are now imagining walking from Orchard to ps?).
So we started walking on the boardwalk along Mac Reservoir.

Daddy, being environmentally friendly, was complaining why the National Parks Board did not employ sweepers to sweep the dead leaves on the boardwalk to the sides - apparently, he thought that this will reduce the amount of decomposition in the forest floor and results in lower soil nutrients (o.O)". So he pick up a tree branch which was found along the board walk and started sweeping the leaves on the boardwalk to the sides. NPB will love him. Haha.. And it is really a coincidence that the tree branch shaped like a broom. dots..

Alright. Other than monkeys, we saw a lot of squirrels too. I saw them so many times and wanted to take a photo of them but they simply run TOO FAST! This photo was the best that i can take.
So after walking to the end of the boardwalk, it was connected to a trail into the forest. Assuming that the forest trail is along the peripheral of MacRitchie Reservoir, we followed blindly. HAHA.. retribution came when we didnt do our homework! We walked for hours and hours and the trail nv seem to end!!! Feeling damn tired, we asked the joggers if there was a way out. They asked us to continue walking until the end and there will be an exit.
Happily knowing that there will be an exit, we walked... and walked.. and walked... until we see Singapore Island Country Club!!! OMG.. looking at the map at the exit, we realised that we've walked more than 8KM up to the yishun direction instead of around the MacRitchie Reservoir. And we haven reach Tree Top Walk yet. But at least we got out of the stupid forest.
Wat's more we have to walk out of Singapore Island Country Club into the main road to look for bus stop (Its a long way again..). I swear nv to walk that route again. Feel so shagged.
And i realised that HSBC Tree Top walk is quite inaccessible. After i went home to check how to get there, u mus get to this car park (which is near Singapore Island Country Club), and then u still muz walk around 2 KM. Damn. To get to that car park, i think i better call for a taxi instead. Cos the bus stop is outside in the main road.
