Do you know about the Dating Violence Awareness Week?
It was an event collaborated between PAVe (Centre for Promoting Alternatives to Violence) and Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information (WKWSCI) from NTU. The awareness week was held between 7 feb to 14 feb.

Dating Violence Awareness Week is the first nationwide campaign against dating violence and targets young Singaporeans aged 17 to 25. Held in the week of Valentine’s Day, activities during DVAW aim to raise awareness on four different aspects of dating violence, including emotional, psychological, sexual and physical abuse.
There is an increasing trend in dating violence reported from seconday school students up to uni level. This event was held with Valentine's day to let more people know about this worrying trend.
They have also come out with a video. (ps. why dun i see it on tv?)
The Straits Times also has a special report on Dating Violence:

Sad to say, I think most people are not aware of abuse happening throughout the world. Because we dun come across it, it doesnt mean that it is not happening. Hope can campaign did help in raising the awareness. (:
