evelyn 21st bday!!

following week after weifen's bday was another fren's 21st bday (: this time was @ ktv near her house!! all of us shared a mp3 for her bday n hope that she'll like it (: had a crazy time with rubby n frens.. ahah... so long nv see them le.. some of them really changed a lot!! take care guys!! n keep in contact!!!

lab time!!

today is e 1st lab of my 2nd yr in lifesci n its e 1st lab that is 6hrs long!! but actually there're even longer lab hours.. so mine is still not that long yet (:

today's lab was rather simple.. so it didnt took us too long to finish e whole thing.. n during our breaks.. i saw my pri sch fren in e canteen!! so qiao!! haha.. but we didnt chat long cos i still need to get back to lab ):

haha.. n when me n qin got back to lab, there's nobody inside (-.-) e others haven come back yet lor.. so i decided to take a photo of e lab for those who haven seen e one in nus (:

our teaching assistance(TA) was quite nice.. compared to e super lame TA nxt grp (-.-) .. he even admitted to his grp that he didnt teach them much n he tell them old grandma stories that obviously his grp was not interested in... aiyo.. lucky i nv choose to go that grp.. if not i'll faint! =x

actually i'll love to be a TA!!! cos can earn money n teach n pursue further degree @ e same time!! gd right!! 3 in 1 combo.. haha.. my future aim (:

its jus e 1st week of sch n i started to dislike 2102 lecture.. not becos e module is uninteresting.. but i'm often asked to ans qns (-.-) super lucky lor.. if u calculate e probabilty of getting called again.. its like 1 in 160000!! n e 2nd lecture i sat @ e back.. n my lecturer actually climb up e LT to e back n ask me qns!! always cant catch his qns n his qns was always so difficult to ans... i shall sit in e middle nxt time.

today really very suay leh!!! when i got back home my block's lift spoilt again!!! n yes.. all 3 lifts spoilt together!! its like e 3rd or 4th time this month le.. going to complain soon!!!

actually i dun mind climbing stairs.. at least i can get myself to exercise out of all e excuses i gave myself for not going for jog =x

after i got home... wanted to go online so i on my lappie n found out that ALMOST EVERYTHING IN MY C DRIVE IS GONE!!! it auto recover to its original state that i last saved.. OMG!!! n my recovery button dun seem to work either!! dead... but lucky i throw most of my photos n stuff in e D drive so i'm still quite lucky... better burnt all my things out be4 D drive going to die too...

was not really looking forward to e 1st day of sch but more to the shopping trip with qin after sch.. hehe

we plan to shop for our clothes n bday presents for our frens (:

went to bugis st to buy her cardigan n black jeans n my lash curler n watch.. but didnt even spot a nice watch there!! hur hur.. so sad.. need a watch badly cos mine jus died on me today ):

n we spent 60 bucks on our frens bday presents in bodyshop alone!!! haha.. n we stayed inside e shop for so long until different sales ger keep coming forward to offer their help.. they're really nice n patient (:

after that we headed for far east to shop!!! n end up we took e train in e wrong direction.. haha.. laugh until i cry..

finally got my new yr dress n watch @ far east!! but i walk until my leg is going to break.. think i haven been exercising for too long.. opps =x

facial!!

so happy!! went to have facial with mama @ coslab in northpoint.. its @ level 2 beside e manicure shop (:

the facial was only 38 bucks.. its normal price not the promotional price.. cheap hor.. but its jus a normal facial.. no massage that kind. first she help me wash n scrub my face.. then steam n squeeze out my pimples n blackheads.. then do put on a mask which is very hot.. i mean spicy that kind. mummy had a skin renewal treatment @ 38 bucks which is e discounted price (originally is 98).. but for 1st time customers they wan u to purchase a new sponge for ur facial n u can keep it in their shop so that u can use it when u visit the shop again nxt time.. or u can jus bring it home after ur facial.. its ex lor.. 8 bucks!

she say my face was dry other than e t-zone.. always tot my face was oily lor.. so she recommend me to put moisturiser on my dry cheeks.. then i went to bodyshop to look for e seaweed moisturiser.

e seaweed moisturiser was $24.90.. but there was a promotion. if sign up for new member then i can purchase e seaweed set that is $49.90 for $19.90!!!!!!!! save $30!!!!! wahaha.. worth it right.. so i sign up for member at $10.

seaweed set which contains 60ml seaweed deep cleansing facial wash, 60ml seaweed clarifying toner, 50ml seaweed mattifying day cream, facial blotting tissue, n facial brush!! cos i sign up for member i got a vitamin E lip care for free!! yeah!!

these few days i jus realised that there is a "returned mail" mailbox in every hdb @ corner of e letter boxes.. ppl jus come n go everyday n i doubt that they actually see that until my daddy told me.. haha.. nxt time those letters that r not meant to be urs can throw inside there (:

sch is starting tmr!! hope i'll have a less stressful sem (which wont be possible.. haha) n hope my dream dean list will come true!!

was a little bored yesterday.. so decided to tidy up my cupboard. found my long lost barbie n decided to give it to the little ger whom my neighbour baby-sits. take a few pic be4 i give it to her.. muz save some childhood memories (:

was looking thru singtel's webbie cos e classic plan i'm using is abt time to upgrade.. may take up e cheapest mio plan ($69++) cos its really worth it!!! e mobile is ione plus with free incoming n caller id n there r unlimited local calls from ur house phone. the internet is 3mbp (mine is still 1 mbp now) n u no need to pay the phone subcription fee of 25 bucks every 3 mth!! gd right.. can save money (: n if u sign up for mio plan u can get the mio box for free too!!

bought a new phone yesterday.. its samsung f330!!!

actually its mummy's but she let me use for some time be4 i get mine!! thanks mummy (:

this phone's spec is jus like my previous phone.. jus that it got fm radio n the msg tone can be change to mp3 (previous samsung phone can only customise e ringtone to mp3 but not msg tone). my whole family keep stuck to samsung cos it is gd in phone quality.. so far none of our phones need to go service in its entire lifespan (: unlike e nokia phone i used last time.. keep go servicing every now n then.. even my fren's also like that. so i trusted samsung!!!

but if u really wan to buy a phone that can be trade in in future.. nokia is still better.. cos e value drop slower than samsung.. but if u wan to buy a quality phone to keep.. i would recommend samsung!!! sony erris i still not sure cos i nv try be4.. but other i noe other brands cmi =x

still looking for a gd phone that's worth buying.. any suggestions? i'm super picky in phones.. wan gd spec, can use micro sd (dun mind if e on board memory is big.. hehe), gd camera, longer battery life, spacy tactile keypad, loud sound, blah blah...

samsung f330.. got it frm singtel cos they have student promo for this phone at only $88 with ione or classic plan.. damn cheap right!!

had dinner in northpoint sakae a few days ago n they changed their menu.. n there r more kinds of food inside.. haha.. but i still prefer ichiban!!!

gave tuition today n my tuition kid actually gave me a belated xmas present!!! so paiseh i nv give her anything.. opps.. so nice of her.. but her present is a cartoon mug. sky say she give me mug so that i can mug hard.. haha.. lame lah =x

after tuition we had our lunch n went to bugis... he wanted to try chewy junior .. so we went over there n i tot he was jus looking at e breads so i pull him away frm e queue so that ppl behind can queue.. then he said he was actually queuing to buy but we're out of e queue already!!! opps.. sorries..becos of this we laugh e whole afternoon.. haha

went to singtel after that to look at phones.. realise samsung has a new 5 megapixel camera phone (G600: http://asia.cnet.com/reviews/mobilephones/0,39051199,42015490p,00.htm) which is SUPER NICE n SLIM!! hehe.. but its not a 3G phone though.. but its brother G800 (http://asia.cnet.com/reviews/mobilephones/0,39051199,42015491p,00.htm) is coming soon into e market n its much better than G600.. haha.. my nxt aim (:

spent e last day of 2007 n 1st day of 2008 in bangkok.. haha.. n u'll expect shops to be closed on public holiday.. cries ):

my trip was suppose to be free n easy but we had a half day city tour which was quite interesting. everybody need to give 100 baht tips to e tour guide which was cheap lah. first they pick us up frm our hotel n bring us to this river (dunno wat's e name) to take boat.

went to patonum after gem factory.. its free n easy le. this street is jus like bugis street n a lot of times bigger than bugis street.. a lot of things to shop for but its a pity that most of e shops r closed on new yr ): ronald macdonald in patonum.. see he's no longer sitting on e chair but giving a welcoming thai gesture (:

cos a lot of shops not open in patonum.. went to chinatown after that... n chinatown is famous for its CHEAP SHARKFIN SOUP and BIRDNEST!! haha.. had a bowl of birdnest there.. price vary upon e kind of birdnest u wan. e cheapest is 100 baht.. which is approx S$5!! cheap hor!!!

me on tuk-tuk.. the tuk-tuk all anyhow charge e tourist so better ask e shopkeepers around for the approx price 1st be4 u actually take one. dun let them eat all ur money!!!

night plaza!! it opens @ 10am n closes at 3am.. a great place to shop at night n remember to BARGAIN HARD!!! haha.. tip of e day: walk around e place 1st be4 u decide to buy anything.. note down e things u wan to buy n look around for e lowest price. if u found e lowest price then bargain until they sell it to u!! but u can get lost in that place so remember which shop is it k? (:

e night plaza got a super big stage n there's performance there at night. in front of e stage are stalls where u can buy ur food n sit down at one of the tables there n enjoy e performance (:
